Alvin Z. Bashore, 95, a resident of Londonderry Village, Palmyra and formerly of Hershey, passed away on September 29, 2022.
He was born April 2, 1927, in Rehrersburg, PA, son of the late Harvey and Laura (Ziegler) Bashore.
Mr. Bashore was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren and was a retired supervisor with Hershey Foods and was also a former Milton Hershey School House Parent.
Alvin is survived by sons, Bruce (and his wife, Monica) Bashore and Neil (and companion, Lana Jent) Bashore; and a brother, Harvey Bashore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Ada (Longenecker) Bashore; daughter in law, Karen Bashore; brothers, Ammon and Rufus Bashore; sisters, Betty Brubaker, Miriam Hain, and Shirley Bashore.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment took place in Midway Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Lebanon.
