Perry H Biggerstaff was born abt. November 1836 in Kentucky, possibly the son of a Benjamin Biggerstaff and his wife, Elizabeth. He married Nancy Short (d/o William Short and Malinda Coe). He likely died between 1900 and 1904 in Monroe County, Kentucky. He last appeared in the 1900 Census, living with his wife, Nancy SHORT Biggerstaff, in Center Point, Monroe County, Kentucky. An article dated June 26, 1904 in The Louisville Courier Journal, references his wife as the widow of the late Perry Biggerstaff. His wife and several children are buried in The Biggerstaff Wilson Cemetery.

Possible Children:
-M. Elizabeth Dotson (b. Abt. 1866, d. Unknown) The 1870 Census lists her living with Nancy and Perry, with last name Dotson. She could be a child from a previous, unknown marriage, or a relative. Dotsons lived in this area at the time. By 1880, she is listed as his daughter with last name Biggerstaff.
-Alice (or Mary Alice) Short (b. 2 Aug 1867, d. 29 Sep 1952). The 1870 Census lists her living with Nancy and Perry, with last name Short. She could be his stepdaughter or other relative of his wife, Nancy Short. By 1880 and forward, she is listed as his daughter with maiden name Biggerstaff.
