Genealogy junkie! After my parents both passed away within a few years of one another I became a wee bit obsessed with researching my roots. It was my way to ask the questions I could no longer ask them and, in some way, to honor and memorialize their legacies. In the process of tracing my own genealogy, I've found I absolutely love researching and solving puzzles of the past. I spend obscene amounts of time on Ancestry, Newspapers.com, Findagrave, and other sites meticulously looking for answers and connections. The joy of solving mysteries and learning more about the lives of those who came before is incredibly satisfying. I live in New England where there's an old cemetery everywhere you look, so I'm excited to start the next phase of my hobby: taking pictures of headstones.
