Barbara Jean Zugg, age 89, of Davenport, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Promedica on Utica Ridge, Davenport.
Barbara was born on December 1, 1932, in Ames, IA, to Joseph and Gladys (Farni) Hyler. She was united in marriage to Lyle Zugg on October 30, 1955. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2016.
Barbara worked as a secretary for the University of Iowa, Federal Land Bank, Kaaba Shrine, and lastly as office manager with Manpower. She was a member of the church, and Order of the Eastern Star. Barbara enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hyler.
Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island.
