Charles Bryant Oberla, 95, a pioneer resident of Chelan, died in the hospital here Tuesday.

He was born July 12, 1872, in Royal City, Inc., and in 1899 moved to Spokane. Three years later he came to Chelan.

He was a bricklayer by trade and later farmed before retiring in 1950.

Surviving are : his nephew George E. Cook, Chelan; and a brother and sister, Lewis Oberla, Vallejo, Calif., and Lola Douglas, Yakima.
