MAROA (PNS) — Milford Bolen, 67, of San Antonio, Tex., formerly of Maroa, died at 3:15 AM Sunday in San Antonio Hospital, following an illness of six months.
The funeral will be at Zizik-Kearns-Downing Funeral Home in San Antonio at 9 AM Tuesday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Forth [sic] Worth, Tex.
He was born in Maroa March 11, 1904, a son of Robert D. and Kathryn Ross Bolen. He married Beatrice Pinkerton in 1922.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, and a brother, Keith, Maroa. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and five brothers.
He was a graduate of Maroa high School and attended the University of Illinois.
he was a vice-resident of Winn's Variety Stores with headquarters in San Antonio for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Lions Club.
