VIRGIL CECIL-Age 67, of Helenwood, Tenn., passed away March 12, 1974 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville. Funeral services were conducted March 14, 1974 at the Helenwood Baptist Church with Rev. James E. Marcum officiating. Burial in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery. Brother Cecil made a profession of faith in Christ and united with the Helenwood Baptist Church in 1931. He served as pastor of the Helerwood Baptist Church for 37 years, and was pastor when he departed this life to be with Christ. He was the son of William Washington and Nancy Jane Duncan Cecil. He is survived by his wife, Gracie Goad Cecil. 4 sons, I brother, 2 sisters and six grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
