MRS. MARY GENIS
After a few days' illness of pneumonia, Mrs. Mary Genis, died at her home, 13 South Pennsylvania Ave., last evening. Deceased had been a resident of this city for thirty years and had scores of friends.

The following children survive: Dr. F.L. Alexaitis of Pittston; John J. Alexaitis of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Anna Hiznay of this city; and Clement Genis, at home. The following brothers and sisters also survive: John S. Lopatto, former assistant district attorney, of Luzerne County; Mrs. Anna Mockaitis of Luzerne; Mrs. George Gustatis of Exeter; also her mother, Mrs. Ursula Lopatto of Luzerne.

FUNERAL OF MRS. MARY GENIS
The funeral of Mrs. Mary Genis of South Pennsylvania Avenue was held from her home Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Solemn high mass was celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. The funeral was very largely attended by relatives and friends of the deceased. Interment was in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston.

Per cemetery office at St. Mary's, Hanover Township, on 9-14-2022, Mary Genis is interred there.
