OBIT: Mrs. Anna T Rock, 47, wife of Frank Rock, yardmaster for the Big Four railroad, died Friday morning at 2:20 o'clock at St Elizabeth Hospital where she was taken Thursday evening at 8:30 o'clock. Mrs. Rock had been ailing since Christmas, death was due to pleurisy and heart trouble. The family residence is at 1115 Central Street. Born in Lafayette, Sept 21, 1884, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Alwell, former well known residents of the First ward. Her entire life was spent in this city. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic church. With the husband she leaves two daughters, Marian and Veronica Rock, both at home and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Potter and Miss Kate Alwell of this city. A brother Patrick Alwell city street commissioner, died Jan 17, 1932. The body was removed to the Vianco funeral home and will be returned to the family residence Friday afternoon, where friends may call. Funeral services will be conducted Mon morning at 9 o'clock from St Marys Catholic church. Interment in St Mary's cemetery.
