I adopted Chester seven years ago. He was six years old. He was shy and afraid. After about six months, he started to warm up to me and trust me.

Last Summer I knew he was going to get put down soon. He had a lot of symptoms of being sick, and he was 13. So I let him outside in the small back yard. He never strayed far. I wanted him to enjoy the outside before he was put down.
