Mrs. Martha A. Thrasher, 82 year old widow of Wesley Thrasher, who died three years ago, passed away at 9:40 p.m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. Hulda Delaney, 1057 Holgate Avenue.
Mrs. Thrasher, who reside a mile and a quarter north of Oadwood, was brought to the daughter's home four weeks ago when she became ill. She later suffered a cerbral hemorrahage.
The body was removed to the Morris Brothers funeral home where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. W.E. Hayden, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in the Sherman Cemetery at Charloe.
Mrs. Thrasher was born in Brown Township, Paulding county, on Dec. 12, 1861, a daughter of James and Lucinda Carnahan.
Besides the daughter, she leaves two sons, Ebon Thrasher, Danville, Ill., and Nay Thrasher, Oakwood; a sister, Mrs. Polly Fuller, Oakwood; 13 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
