She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Marvin Blankenship and her daughters, Laura Blankenship and Cathy Blankenship.
Gerdean previously worked at Globman's Dept. Store and she attended Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother Paul R. Roop Sr and his wife Joy, and her granddaughter.
