Robert E. Seifert, age 66, of Barberton, on Saturday, October 9, 1982, in Barberton Citizens Hospital.


The Barberton native was an inspector at B & W until 1972, when he took a medical retirement. A member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, he served as past treasurer of the Holy Name Society. He was a member of the B & W 20-Year Club, and a precinct committeman for 35 years.


He leaves his wife, Marilyn; four sons, five daughters; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Donald, Raymond, Ivan and Richard Seifert; plus seven sisters, Mrs. Ruth Oser, Mrs. Helen Petit, Mrs. Janet Paridon, Miriam Seifert, Mrs. Marita Zupke, Mrs. Carol Hoover, and Mrs. Joan Wehling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward M. and Amelia (Youngblood) Seifert; plus one sister, Mary Evelyn Petit.


Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday morning 10 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.
