OBITUARY
Anne T. Boschult (90) passed away at Shalimar Gardens in Fremont, Nebraska on Wednesday morning, August 17. Anne was born February 26, 1932 to Fred and Mary Teigeler in Fremont, Nebraska. She graduated from Fremont, High School and studied History at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She married Mervin W. Boschult in 1954 and together they made their lifelong home in Fremont.
Anne's first love was horses. She began riding as a child and became an accomplished
equestrian. In the mid 1950's she won the Amateur Five Gated World Championship Stake at the American Royal Horseshow in Kansas City and continued training, showing, and breeding horses throughout her life. She was an active member of the American Saddlebred Association and shared her equestrian skills teaching young riders through the Rawhide Riders 4H program in Fremont.
Anne and Merv traveled the world with family and friends but always felt there was no better place to be than right here in Nebraska. They worked together to improve and manage their farms and were members of the First Congregational Church UCC in Fremont. Anne was active in the Dodge County Historical Society, PEO, Priscilla Flower Mission, and served on the Board of Midland Lutheran College. In later years, she enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her daughter's horse races and grandsons' many sporting events.
Anne is survived by her daughter Lynn Chleborad (Gene Jacquot) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, son Mark Boschult (wife Gail) of Elkhorn, Nebraska, grandson, Grant Boschult (wife Alex) of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, grandson Dan Boschult, of Elkhorn, Nebraska, and great-grandsons William and Samuel Boschult of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, nieces Jody Mead (Randy) of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and Susan Muscarella (Dave) of Loomis, California, and their families. Anne was preceded in death by her husband Mervin W. Boschult, her sister Katherine (Kacky) Schmidt, and her grandson Benjamin Boschult.
Services will be Tuesday August 23rd at Dugan memorial Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with visitation on Monday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Memorials have been established to the First Congregational Church of Fremont and Dodge County Historical Society. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com.
