Passed away suddenly Friday, May 17, 1974 at his home. Age 80. He was born Oct. 25, 1893 in Landeck, Ohio. He married Margaret Wemzlick in Maple Grove Township in 1921. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and Chesaning Knights of Columbus, No. 2943. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, four sons and two daughters; Thomas and Richard, of Chesaning; Mrs. Marion Kico, of Lansing; Walter, of Flint; Mrs. Geneva Schoch of Marion and Alfred, of Flushing. Also 36 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters; Leo, Isadore, Bernard and Alphonse, Mrs. Cecilia Wemzlick and Mrs. Esther Hemgesberg, all of Chesaning. Funeral service will be announced later by the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
