After honorably serving his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Fairbanks, AK, during the Korean War, Roger joined the engineering department at Anheuser Busch where he worked for 37 years until he retired.

A popular long-term resident of Friendship Village of Sunset Hills, Roger was a sharp card player and a winning golfer who loved to travel. Roger was known for his patience, devotion to his wife and family, deliberate approach to all decisions, and keen awareness of the value of a dollar combined with generosity of spirit.
