Kenneth A. Cox, 43, of Kermit, Texas, formally of Gillett, died Sunday July 1, 1990 in Peoria, Illinois while enroute to Gillett on vacation.
He was born April 19, 1947 at the Shawano Community Hospital, Shawano, Wisconsin to Gertrude (Reed) and the late Clarence Cox.
Kenneth was a 1965 graduate of Gillett High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1970. On May 22, 1970 he married Marilyn Palmer in Carlsbad, NM.
Kenneth was a production foreman at the Texaco Oil Co. in Kermit, TX for the past 19 years. He was a member of the Community Church i Kermit and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Kenneth is survived by his mother Gertrude, Gillett, his wife Marilyn, Kermit, TX, his son Brian, Kermit, TX. He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law Alan and Katherine, Pound, WI and two sisters and brothers-in-law Carol and Bruce Jensen, Oconto Falls, WI, Gloria and Lee Witter, Menasha, WI and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Clarence Cox.
Services were held at the Tabor United Methodist Church in Gillett with Rev. Richard Sweitzer officiating. Interment was in Wanderers Rest Cemetery, Gillett, Wisconsin.
