Bio

Following his graduation in Ohio with a Veterinary Degree, my Dad moved our little family to the farming community of Gillett, Wis. With a population of 1200, our family of six, were like corn stalks in a wheat field! Everyone else was related, cousins, siblings, aunts, or uncles, grandparents, but we had none of these.

In 1968 I began my search to 'expand' my family. My parents were of little help, but digging through old trunks I found letters and leads. I was very fortunate that I had jobs that required a lot of travel, both national and international. I was able to research and then meet many of my 'new' family members.

After hooking my wagon to Jerold Buchan, I began an extensive search of all Buchans. For nearly 40 years I was the N. American Rep for the Scottish Clan Buchan, and continued my research internationally.

I've filled four file cabinets with documents and records and I'm still searching. It is my joy to help others find their family members.

I have researched extensively these surnames: Buchan, Chatfield, Kenney, Kesler, Lepak, Rolhoff, Roderick, Stroud, and Townsend.
