Mack Henry Alexander Foor was born March 28, 1861 and departed this life May 15, 1951 at the home of his grand-daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Benham, at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 17 days.
He was married to Nancy Bell Lamkin, who preceeded him in death 27 years ago. To this union four children were born, one son Gus died in infancy. Surviving are two sons, Joe Alex of Ekron, Rhea of Brandenburg, one daughter, Mrs. Eula Shacklette of Vine Grove, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Buck Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. E. B. Stewart the former pastor of New Brandenburg Baptist Church. Interment was in the church cemetery, pallbearers were his grandsons.
