WILLIAMSPORT - Kenneth E. Cochran, age 73, passed away early Saturday morning, August 13, 2022 at the Gatehouse Hospice in Williamsport.

He was born June 17, 1949 in Williamsport, the son of George M. and Jeanette M. Snyder Cochran. He was married to his wife Sharon R. Cochran who passed away October 12, 2011.

Ken was a professional truck driver his entire career which spanned thirty-three years for various trucking companies, retiring in 2011 from Ward Trucking. He was a former member of the Danville Gun Club and was interviewed by the Sun Gazette in April of 2013 on his concerns as a United States citizen on government intrusion into the private sector.

His survivors include two daughters; Shirley J. Harding of Burgaw, NC and Georgina L. Cochran of Linden, four grandchildren and four brothers; George, Earnest, Terry and John.

In keeping with Ken's wishes, there will be no services.

Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
