She was born April 25, 1934, to William Henry Augastine and Mary (Eitenier) Barth. She owned and was the beautician at the Hen House in Holgate. Violet was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Holgate and the American Legion Auxiliary post 340.
She is survived by her children: Lynn (Luana) Schroeder, Ridgeville Corners, Debra (Junior) Plotts, Deshler and Skip (Carolyn) Eberly, Westerville, Ohio; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Violet was preceded in death by her brothers: Virgil, Victor and Verlin.
Friends will be received in the Zachrich Family Funeral Home, 114 William St. Holgate on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the celebration of her Life at 12 p.m. Reverend Carl Rockrohr will be officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Holgate. Contributions in Violet's memory can be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
