Doris Marie Sutherland, 82, of Decatur, Illinois passed away peacefully on August 9, 2022.
Doris was born in Fornfelt, Missouri on July 11, 1940. She was the eldest daughter of Walter and Amanda Eggiman. Doris married Jack Sutherland on July 10, 1979.
Doris was a devoted CNA at Fair Havens Christian Home for 31 years. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, crossword books, and sewing. She was also an avid baker, spending weeks preparing her famous Christmas cookies and treats, which were packed in special tins and distributed to all of her family and loved ones.
Doris is survived by her husband of 43 years. Children, Kelly (Jim Irwin) Pence; Michael (Peggy Jost) Pence; Sherrol (Alan) Knotts; Mark (Casey) Sutherland.
