Ronald Wesley Steward, 75 passed away at his residence on June 16, 2022. Those that knew and loved him were always blessed to know how much they meant to him. He had a strong and devoted love for his family. He spent his extra time outside working in his garden and yard.
He also enjoyed music, woodworking and drinking his Pepsi's.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Norman and Beulah (Pugh) Steward, his in-laws: Dorothy and Arthur Welch, his grandchildren: David Steward and Michael Steward, a great-grandchild: Marcus Steward and his brother: Donald Steward.
He is survived by his loving wife: Darla (Welch) Steward, his children: Ronald Steward of Rector, Ronda Steward of Rector, Michelle and Wayne Steward Wheeler of Rockford, Illinois and Sherry and Chuck Wright of Piggott, grandchildren: Brandon Steward, Brooke Tripplett, Elijah Collins, Derek Steward, Cheyanne Steward, Kassey Steward, Casey Steward, Alexa Steward Wheeler, Breanna Steward Wheeler, Dakota Steward Wheeler, Kyleigh Wright, 12 great-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law's: Lynn & Jim Willard, Bonnie Steward and Pam Stone along withspecial nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 at the Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector. The service Began at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will be at the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway.
