Donald Steward, age 72, of Kemp, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Donald was born July 11, 1949 to parents, Norman Steward and Beulah Pugh. He married the love of his life, Bonnie Steward on June 7, 1969, in Elizabeth City, NC. Donald was an adventurous and devoted man, who enjoyed bull riding, driving tractors, feeding fish, and especially attending rodeos. This United States Navy Veteran owned and operated Steward and Son Construction Company and built the first lighthouse on Cedar Creek Lake. Donald loved gardening and sharing his fruits and vegetables with his neighbors, he was known as Pa Don to all the kids and the neighborhood. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who loved his family; especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Norman Steward and Beulah Pugh; son, Bradley Don Steward; brother-in-law, Rick Murray; and sister-in-law, LuAnn Murray.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Steward of 52 years of Kemp, Tx; son, Shawn Steward and his wife Marla of Kemp, Tx; daughter, Brandi Greenhaw and husband Brandon of Kemp, Tx; brother, Ronald Steward and wife Darla of Rector, AR; brother-in-law, Lynn Murray of Paragould, AR; grandchildren, Bradley Steward of Kemp, Tx; Eric Crapanzano of Kemp, Tx; Cortney Crapanzano of Kemp, Tx; Samantha Crapanzano of Kemp, Tx; Zane Crapanzano and his wife Shelby of Kemp, Tx; along with 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 9:00am, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 10:00am; officiated by Jerry Daniels. A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11:00am at the Woodland Heights Cemetery, located in Rector, AR; officiated by Brother Tim Ohler
