Helen D. Crockett, widow of Lyndon Eades Crockett, Jr., died Monday August 8, 2022. Born on May 29, 1938 in Richmond, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mamie Tussey Dalton. Helen was a homemaker, a volunteer Girl Scout leader, a Sunday School and Bible School teacher, and attended East Hickman Baptist Church. Survivors include her three children, Tina (Mike) Pepper, Leigh Anne Giles, and Bradley (Nicole) Crockett; six grandchildren, Will (Kristen) Pepper, Christian (Justin) Ludlam, Mary Helen Pepper, Alexis Giles, Ethan Crockett, and Hyla Brook Crockett; two great-grandchildren, Anna Kate Pepper, and Caroline Pepper; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00pm Saturday August 13, 2022 at Kerr Bros-Main Street. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Blakenship, John O'Bryan, Mike Pepper, Bradley Crockett, Ethan Crockett and Will Pepper. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be sent to Sayre Christian Village, Ashland Henry Clay Estate, or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
