Sally Taylor Cayce, 92, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, Nov. 16, 1997.
Sally was born on July 25, 1905, in Stovall, N.C., the sixth of seven children. She graduated from Duke University and attended graduate school at Northwestern University before teaching in North Carolina. She moved to Virginia Beach with her brother, Waller Taylor M.D., and met her husband, Hugh Lynn Cayce. They were married for 40 years until his death. She was a devoted wife and mother.
The Cayces leave two sons, Charles Thomas and Gregory Jackson both of Virginia Beach.
They, along with their families, will host a memorial service today, Nov. 18, 1997 at 4 p.m. at Tabernacle Methodist Church in Virginia Beach.
In lieu of gifts, memorial donations may be sent to the Association for Research and Enlightenment or to Tabernacle Methodist Church. "
