Mr. Alfred Bigelow of Howard Flat died at his home, after a short illness and was buried in the Fraternal Cemetery Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Bigelow was born in St. Mary's Ohio, Oct. 1851, lived there with his parents until 1861 when the family moved to Vinton, Iowa. He was married to Miss Fila Beverstock. In 1870 moved to Salina Co., Nebraska, and lived there until coming to Chelan in 1902.
Mr. Bigelow was of a quiet genial disposition and endeared himself to all who knew him. A good neighbor, a good citizen, whose influence was always on the side of right. He will be greatly missed by his neighbors and friends.
Mr. Bigelow leaves his widow and four sons, Frank at Chelan, Fred in Oregon, Lewis and Harry in eastern Washington.
