She was an Administrative Supervisor for Local 464A in Little Falls, NJ. Blanche was fun loving, and her door was always open to everyone. She was the Matriarch of the family and the glue that held everyone together. Her family was very important to her, and she loved them all very much.

Blanche McKay Scasserra was always a happy individual. At Hillside High School she was Captain of the Cheerleaders and even voted as "The Nicest Smile" in her school's yearbook. That smile never faded from her beautiful face. It was a magical smile that brightened up every room she ever entered. Life is filled with endless hurdles, and she confidently jumped over each and every one of them. She had the perseverance of a champion. When she was knocked down, she ALWAYS rose up and plowed forward with that wonderful, cheerful attitude of hers. She was charming, lovable, funny and made everyone feel like one of the family. A sense of enchantment is now missing from the world. Earth's loss is Heaven's gain.
