A self-employed business owner and resident of Baker, he died Friday, May 30, 2003, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 65 and a native of Wilkinson County, Miss.

Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, Miss., from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Bernard Waites. Interment in Roseland Cemetery, Gloster.

Survived by a son, Jamey Christopher "Chris" Durham and wife Leah, Livingston; a granddaughter, Sydney Rose Durham; a brother, Michael Durham and wife Rosemary, Baton Rouge; and a sister, Evelyn Welch, Baker.

Preceded in death by his parents, Judge "Pete" Durham and Lillian Ester Ashley Durham.

He was of the Methodist faith.
