William (Willie) Bill Erle, age 88 of Johnsburg, IL, passed away on July 26, 2022. He was born on February 19, 1934, in Ridley Park, PA. He met and married the love of his life, Joyce Hollander on November 4, 1967, in Glenview, IL.
Bill enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoyed traveling. His greatest accomplishment was his family. He was also in the United States Army.
Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce, his sons; Chuck Erle and Gregory Erle, his two grandchildren; Keisha (Sean) Anderson, Dakota Erle, his two great grandchildren; Forrest and Autum Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at the Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 10-12 pm. A funeral service will follow. Interment will be at Windridge Cemetery, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary, IL.
