Obituary
Agatha June Asher, the daughter of Harry and Altha Bullington, was born November 16, 1928 at her home just outside Greenfield Missouri. She departed this life July 22, 2022 at the age of 93 years.

June, as known by most, was a 1947 graduate of Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She and Edwin Joe Asher were married July 18, 1947; beginning a life together full of love laughter and adventure. The home was soon filled with children. Despite the busy schedule as a wife and mother, June furthered her education attending Tulsa Business College, beginning a long career in data processing. June was an accomplished seamstress. She often made or mended her children's clothes many times with no pattern.

June was rooted deep in her faith and love for her Savior. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Slick where she was very active in Bible studies and church socials. Being raised on a farm fostered a love for animals and at one point took in more pigs than one would care to count. June's servant heart led her to give eight years to the Salvation Army where the lives she touched are still touching lives today.

June, having a compassionate heart and being a widow herself, often made it a point to visit other widows. She simply had a passion to help others. She shopped weekly at the Goodwill and never passed up a flea market, always on the look out for something that may spark a memory and forever giving new life.

June is survived by two children, Edwin Joe Asher Jr. and wife Beatrice and Carol James and husband Don; five grandchildren, Wendy Dempsey and husband Davin, Eddie J. Asher III and wife Denie, Sean Asher, Chase Asher and wife Lindsey, Lindsey Helling and husband Chris; two nieces, Debbie Summers and Cheryl Breit; one nephew David Dyson; and two great nieces, Becky Myers and Heather Summers; nine great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 28 years and two sisters, Mossilene Dyson and Marylee Anderson.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Faith Baptist Church in Slick, Oklahoma. She will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, Oklahoma.
