FORD, Betty Lou - Of Clio, age 77, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at her residence. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm Friday, January 18, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Gary Lindsey will officiate with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Betty's family will greet friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 1:00pm - 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Betty was born February 18, 1930 in Flint, Michigan, the third child of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew (Gladys) Tracy. She and Lester Francis Ford were united in marriage August 13, 1949. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, shopping at the Goodwill and reading. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Lester Ford; 3 children: Sandra (Harold) Lee, Richard (Sue) Ford, and Frances Ford; daughter-in-law, Peggy Ford; 8 grandchildren, Harold Lee, Stephanie (Jason) Jones, Amanda Ford, J.R. Ford, Amy Bancroft, Angela (Mike) Eichhorn, Autumn (Kevin) Howard, and Patricia Ecker; many great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Blivins; many nieces, nephews,cousins and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; son, Lester Wayne Ford; grandson, David Ecker II; and a sister, Hazel Ketchum.
