Julia C. Keesling, 90, died Friday, July 22, 2022 at Stafford County Hospital, Stafford. Born October 17, 1931 at Sterling she was the daughter of George Harold and Velma Ione Underwood Bruer. She was a 1950 Hutchinson High graduate and a graduate of McPherson Licensed Practical School of Nursing. On August 29, 1950 she married Lyle Wendel McKinney at South Hutchinson. To this union were born three sons: Michael, David and Tim. She later married Harvey Keesling on August 10, 1979 at Sylvia. He died March 17, 2005.

She is survived by sons: Michael (Pamela) McKinney, David McKinney and Tim (Betsy) McKinney. Six grandsons: Ethan, Eli, Denny, Michael, Jace and Jared. Seven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 26 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Burial will be at Laredo Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 1-7 p.m. at Minnis Chapel. Memorials may be given to the Stafford County Hospital in care of the chapel.
