Mrs. Jennie C. Decker, 82, widow of Dr. Frederick H. Decker, died early this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nelson R. Boss, of Milford, R. D., N.J.
She was born in Peekskill, N. Y., and had resided in Frenchtown for 50 years before moving to her daughter's home upon the death of her husband about a year ago. Her husband was a physician in Frenchtown for many years.
Mrs. Decker was a member of Orion Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, the Methodist Church, and the Woman's Club, all of Frenchtown. Her parents were the late Charles and Harriet Austin Vought.
Surviving in addition to her daughter, are two other daughters, Mrs. Nelson R. Gardinor, of Frenchtown, and Mrs. Sheldon Kuts, of Collegeville; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Walbert Vought, of Rochester, N. Y., and Snyder Vought, of Roslyn, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. Edna McDavitt, of Newark, N. J.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Gardinor, 702 Harrison street, Frenchtown. The Rev. Herbert A. Sawyer, pastor of Frenchtown Methodist Church, will officiate. Cremation will be held at Ewing crematory, Ewing, N. J.
