BEATRICE ACKER OBITUARY
Funeral services for Beatrice "Bea" Acker, 95, were held on July 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home in Magnolia, TX. Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
Beatrice, affectionately known as "Bea", was born in Lorne Burg, NC on September 10, 1926 to King and Ethel Rainwater. She loved her job as a cafeteria manager and dietician. She was a devoted wife to her husband, H.L., until his passing in 2007. Bea loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was also very involved in her church and loved spending time with her church family. Bea will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Bea's memory include her son, Kenneth Acker (Michelle); three daughters, Pat Dyer (Wayne), Kay Sills and Janis Hensley (Jack); thirteen grandchildren; as well as numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bea is preceded in death by her parents, King Rainwater and Ethel Chavis; husband, H.L. Acker; brother, Everette Rainwater; granddaughter, Leah McCown; two great grandsons, Kenneth Blackman and Holden Sills; and son-in-law, Charles Sills.
The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Heart of Hospice and Sherry, her granddaughter, for the special care given to their mother.
