FLOYD CAYLOR KILLED SUNDAY AFTER BATTLE
Fred Parnell Charged With His Death By Officers
Floyd Caylor, aged 30, died at 8:30 a. m. Monday, and Fred Parnell, aged 25, was charged with murder, accused of beating Caylor to death Sunday night one-half mile north of Ringold in the extreme north section of the county.
Coynty Attorney C. D. Wilkinson, and Officers Robert Ives, Lawrence McCain, and Clayton Jordan, investigated the affair.
Caylor, who was cut on his left hand and other places on his body during the fight, died from loss of blood. His body had been placed in a barn, according to officers. Both of the men had been drinking before the fight, officers said.
