Darias Stewart Bisson, Sr. age 88 went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at his home of 50 years in Arlington, WA surrounded by his wife of 67 years, his daughters, grandchildren and a passel of great grand children.

He was born April 13, 1934 in Monroe, WA to Raymond Stewart Bisson and Bessie Mae (Wheaton) Bisson. He was sixth in line of thirteen children.

Darias spent a good portion of young life growing up in a house on the water under the Everett Trestle Bridge. At the age of 21 he married Elaine June Coy, (age 16) on October 20, 1955 They went on to have 5 children and then had two more children when the youngest of 5 was 8 years old making a completed family of 7 children.

Darias worked all his life in the field of construction/laborer being a member of the Local 292 Labor Union in Everett. He was very accomplished in his line of work being a machine operator, steel worker as well as laying terrazzo and concrete along with many other abilities. His family is proud to know that he had a hand in building and finishing many roads, highways, bridges, dams and buildings, just a couple of which are Colby Ave. in Everett, WA and the courthouse in Arlington, WA

His greatest joys were his grandchildren, great grandchildren and babies. And even days before his passing, his eyes would light up when they entered his bedroom. His other joys and hobbies were gardening, especially flowers, shrubs and trees as well as photography, (he was rarely ever seen without a camera) and oil painting which he took up later in life.

He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Stella Patrice Spring in October of 2005. He is survived by his wife, Elaine June and his six remaining children and their spouses. Elaina May S.
