A native of Monahan, Texas, Charles Wayne Griffith was born on July 23, 1950 to the late Harris B. and Nell Leatherwood Griffith. He was a longtime resident of New Iberia and worked as a social worker prior to his retirement.
He is survived by a daughter, Megan Griffith of Canada; a brother, Donald Griffith and wife Carole of Nolanville, TX; and nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Nancine Griffith; and a sister, Sheril Lawler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland Baptist Church, where Charles was a longtime member, 607 Victory Dr., New Iberia, LA 70563.
