Leora went to be with the Lord July 9, 2022 at the age of 86 in Amarillo, TX. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Sanders Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at City of Lubbock Cemetery, Lubbock TX with Pastor Jackie Kiefer and Ann Smith officiating.

Leora was born on June 1, 1936 to Troy B and Leora "Grace" (Kinard) Cannaday in Carbon, Texas. She was raised in Lubbock, Texas where she married and started her family with Eddie Conditt on July 19, 1953. In 1998 she lost, Eddie, the love of her life. In 2002 she married John Meadows, and they were married for 18 years. She was blessed with 2 caring, loving husbands.

She played piano for her church in her younger years and carried her strong faith of the Lord with her always. She was a devoted daughter, loving wife, caring mother and great friend. She loved to crochet and knit. Traveling was her passion.

Leora retired from Clovis Schools in 1996 as a payroll clerk. She was also an owner of Copycat Plus Printing & Copying and Systems Graphics, Inc. in Clovis, NM until 1998.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Conditt (Pete Rodriguez) from Lubbock TX and Patricia Conditt-Spriggs (Dan Wolfcale) from Amarillo TX also two step children Patti Harriman (Phil) from Tulsa OK and John Meadows (Lisa) Westminster CO; Brother Roy Cannaday (Jane) from Raleigh KY and sister-in-laws Carol Cannaday from Gainesville FL and Verna Cannaday from Rio Rancho NM; Grandchildren, Richard Broome from Clovis NM, Sean Broome from Lubbock TX, Travis Gorrell (Savannah) from Canyon TX, Sarah Gorrell from Galveston TX, Treyla Stoner (Oran) from Canyon TX, Tasha Spriggs from Clovis, NM, Crystal Neuhaus from San Antonio TX, Pete Rodriquez, Jr. from Littlefield TX, and Gregory Rodriguez from Meadow TX; 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. And A very special "adopted daughter" that she thought of as her own, Ann Smith.

She was joined in heaven by her parents, Troy B and Leora "Grace" Cannaday; her loving husbands, Eddie Conditt and John Meadows; two sons, Eddie Conditt, Jr. and Barry Conditt; brothers, Jim Cannaday and Lynn Cannaday.
