Clarence E Brown, 89, of 2908 Evans Ave., died Sunday.
A farmer, he was a member of the Westville United Methodist Church, F and AM Lodge 192 and Porter County Farm Bureau.
He was born Oct.19,1888 in South Bend and was the son of Philip and Minnie (Fenske) Brown. He married Sadie Wallace in July 9,1916 and she died in 1919. He married Marie Ullom May 9, 1922. She preceded him in death in 1948.
Surviving are two sons, Clarence of Valparaiso and Maurice of Temple City, Calif.: two daughters, Jeanette Allison of Walkerton and Margaret Ullom of Leroy, Minn.: 14 grandchildren: 16 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bartholomew Funeral Home with Rev. James Russell officiating. Burial will be in Westville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Masonic rites will be conducted at 7 p.m.
