Miss Haggerty, 41, of Winona, died Monday (Jan. 21, 2008) at Community Memorial Hospital, following a pedestrian-automobile accident.
She was born Feb. 16, 1966, in Rochester. She graduated from Goodhue High School in 1984 and from Mankato State University with degrees in accounting and mass communication. She lived in the Red Wing area for five years then moved to Winona, where she worked for Riverport Inn. She enjoyed music, reading, video games, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her parents, Kenneth and Mary (Blahnik) Haggerty of Goodhue; four sisters, Margaret Dalmeida of Kellogg, Melinda (Mark) Boyd of Albuquerque, N.M., Melissa (Pat) Haeska of Lake City and Monica (Brandon) Schafer of Goodhue; and two brothers, Joseph (Deanna) Haggerty of New Richland, Minn., and Jason Haggerty of Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and an hour before the service Friday at the church.
