Steve Smith, 60, of Borger passed away at home June 30, 2022, in Borger. Funeral services will 2:00 pm be Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Steve was born September 11, 1961, in Borger to W. L. "Bud" and Jean (Shupp) Smith. He married Charlene Berry December 31, 1993, in Lipscomb County, TX. He loved to BBQ, to smoke sausage, wood crafts, camping and his dogs Chloe and Maggie. He also loved spending time with his grandkids.
Preceding him in death are his parents, cousin Richard Gay and mother-in-law Lisa.
Surviving is his wife Charlene of Borger. Son Daniel Smith of Borger. Daughter Dezaree Moon of Fritch. Sister Debbie Brewer and husband Gary of Borger. Grandchildren Colten Perkins, Alexis Perkins, Weston Perkins, and Addison Perkins.
