Mrs. Ruby Philley Oliver, 86, a Carroll County native and a Duck Hill housewife, died Monday night, Oct. 6, 1986, at Grandview Health Care Center in Grenada after a lengthy illness.
Memorial services were conducted at graveside in Parker Cemetery in Alva Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Steve Warren preached.
A member of Hopewell Methodist Church in Alva, Mrs. Oliver is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ona Caffey of Grenada; a son, Robert Ned Oliver of Duck Hill; a half-brother, Rickman Philley of Stewart; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
