Funeral services for Simeon Clower Bernhardt, 72, whose death occurred Monday night here at the home of his son, J. T. Bernhardt, were conducted this afternoon from the Central Methodist Church, Rev, James F. Singleton, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating.
Mr. Bernhardt was both Oct. 27, 1862 in Coweta County and was reared in Senoia. He has been a resident of this city for a number of years, being for a time employed by the A. B. and C. railroad. The past few years he has operated a fruit stand.
Surviving are five daughters; Mesdames O. B. Mask, H. G. Mask and Joseph Glass of Fayetteville; M. L. Jones and J. B. Warren of Pineview, and three sons, J. J. Bernhardt, Fayetteville; E. M. Bernhardt, Newnan, and J. T. Bernhardt of this city.
