PITTS — Mrs. M. L. (Nonnie Bernhard) Jones, Sr., 80, died Wednesday in a local hospital after a short illness. Services will be held at 2 pm Friday in the Pleasant View Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs Jones a native of Fayette County had lived in Pitts for 65 years. She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons Ferrell L Jones of Pitts, and M. L. Jones, Jr. of Hawkinsville; two daughters, Mrs. Burris Jones of Wilmington, N. C. and Mrs Vivian J Bonner of Vienna; a sister Mrs Ida L Mask of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bowen-Everett Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
