The Cadiz Record obit posted 17 Nov 1993 reads as follows:

Funeral services for Dwight (Poodle) Carr, 53, of Cadiz, were conducted on Nov. 15, 1993, at Goodwin Funeral Home.

The Revs. Irvin Darnall and Todd Jones officiated the services. Burial followed in Carr Cemetery in Trigg County.

Mr. Carr died on Nov. 12 at Trigg County Hospital, following a long illness.

He was born May 22, 1940, son of Marie Sumner Carr Thomas of Trigg County and the late William Sank Hopson Carr. Mr. Carr was a farmer and a logger. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Hargrove Carr; one son, Timmy H Carr of Trigg County; two daughters, Rammie C Parrent and Tracey C Taylor, both of Trigg County; one brother, Johnny Carr of Trigg County; two sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Wilda) Underwood and Mrs. Earl (Glenda & twin sister) Calhoun, both of Trigg County; his mother, Marie Sumner Carr Thomas of Trigg County; and two grandchildren, Matthew Jones and Trenton Parrent, both of Trigg County.

Pallbearers were Bill Braucht, Hershell Hargrove, David Hargrove, Earl Calhoun, Carl Ray Sumner, and Bobby Hargrove. Honorary pallbearers were James Taylor, Steve Parrent, Shawnee Underwood, Mark Lane, Ricky McNichols, and Billy "Hop" Calhoun.

Music was provided by Harold Smothers and Scotty Hargrove, guitarists.
