Mr. Marshall Howard Albritton, 64, of Waycross died Wednesday morning at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, also preceded in death by his father, William Henry Albritton, Sr.;
his brother, William Henry Albritton, Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Danny McCook.

He attended Woodard Chapel Church early in his life. A skilled machinist, he worked for Varn Lumber Products in Hoboken. A simple and humble man, Mr. Albritton loved classic country music and riding dirt roads in his pickup truck where his CB handle was "Dirt Road Maniac."

Mr. Albritton is survived by his wife, Linda Albritton of Waycross;
four sons,
James Sweat and his wife Candice,
Steve Sweat and his wife Beth,
Jason Sweat and his wife Jennifer,
Joe Sweat and his wife Emily;

seven grandchildren;
one great grandson;
his mother, Carolyn Albritton of Waycross;
two sisters,
Carol Robles and her husband Silver of Flatonia, Texas,
Brenda McCook of Waycross;
one brother, Harold Albritton of Waycross;
and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In accordance with Mr. Albritton's wishes, a simple cremation will take place and no services will be held.
