Mr. Larkey retired in 1994 from the Dana Corporation in Ft. Wayne, IN where he worked for over 20 years in production. Jack was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as a Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 7 in Huntington.

Jack was born on August 9, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of John Virgil and Lucille (Sucudder) Larkey.

Survivors include his granddaughter – Christina N. (T.J.) Baumgardner of Huntington; six brothers – Rex Larkey of Roanoke, H. R. Larkey of Huntington, Jerry Larkey of Huntington, John Larkey of South Whitley, Randy Larkey of Huntington, and Danny Larkey of Huntington; one sister – Barbara (Bob) Covey of Huntington. A son – Jack Curtis, three brothers – Billy, Tommy, and Larry Larkey; and two sisters – Clair Joan Teusch and Jane Smith, preceded him in death.
