Billy B. Larkey, 71, 1209 Wayne St., Warren, died at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 24, 2000) at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Larkey worked as an inspector for General Motors, Marion. He was a member of the Bluffton Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Post No. 7, Huntington.

He was born Dec. 8, 1928, in Shelby County, to Virgil and Lucille Scudder Larkey. His marriage was June 27, 1975, to Linda Babb. His wife survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Tom Larkey and Tim Larkey, both of Liberty Center; three daughters, Debrah Hollingsworth, Panama City, Fla., Mrs. Walter (Gina) Brown, Panama City Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Blake (Vicky) Walters, Bluffton; a stepson, Jeff Biddle, Huntington; a stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Vicki) Baker, Andrews; seven brothers, Rex Larkey, Roanoke, Jack Larkey, Jerry Larkey, Dick Larkey, Randy Larkey, all of Huntington, John Larkey, Bippus, and Danny Larkey, Warren; two sisters, Mrs. Dean (Joan) Teusch, and Mrs. Bob (Barb) Covey, both of Huntington; 21 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, a sister, and a stepdaughter preceded in death.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Kevin Myatt officiating.

Interment will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to either the American Kidney Fund or the American Diabetes Association.
