HERRINGTON, A. Evonne (Age 93) – Entered into rest on June 1, 2022, at the age of 93 and was greeted into heaven by Jesus Christ and many dear family and friends. She was born on October 7, 1928, to Alpha Donald and Violet McClure in Ottumwa, Iowa. In 1946 she married her childhood sweetheart Clifford Herrington, a marriage lasting 62 years, until his death in 2009. She worked as a switchboard operator for the John W. Graham Co. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, and great grandmother and a joy to her whole family. Evonne is survived by her children, Cheryl Kuhlmann, Diana Orlowski (Dan), and son, Vic Herrington; several grandchildren, Cindy (Mike), Tim (Jacky), Jennifer, Cherie, Ryan, Kelly (Rick), and Shayna (Chad); 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Evonne was preceded in death by her parents, brother Wilburn; sisters Pauline, Helen, and Gwen, and son-in-law Gary Kuhlmann. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10th from 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Riplinger Funeral Home. A celebration of Evonne's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10th, 2022 at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division, Spokane, WA. Interment will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery, Spokane, WA.
